We're inviting dedicated, mission-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors to help guide the work that supports patients and families through some of life's most meaningful moments.

You can make an impact right here in our community and play a valuable role in growing a local non-profit business. We seek people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older

  • Not employed with Coastal Home Health and Hospice

  • No felony convictions

  • Have the desire to be active and involved in the community

What Does the Board Do?

Our Board of Directors serves as the governing body of Coastal Home Health & Hospice. Board members provide strategic direction, ensure financial accountability, and uphold our mission to deliver quality home health and hospice care to every person we serve.

The board doesn't manage day-to-day operations; instead, it focuses on the bigger picture: making sure our organization is sustainable, ethical, and always moving toward its mission. Think of it as the compass that keeps us pointed in the right direction.

What Would I Do As a Board Member?

Support leadership

Partner with our executive team, offering guidance, perspective, and encouragement as they carry Coastal’s mission forward.

Ensure accountability

Review financials, policies, and outcomes to ensure the organization remains responsible, transparent, and effective.

Attend board meetings

Participate in our monthly meetings to review organizational health and make key decisions.

Guide strategy

Help shape long-term plans that ensure we can continue serving patients and families well into the future.

Champion our mission

Be an ambassador in the community, sharing our story and connecting us with people and partners who share our values.

Who Are We Looking For?

We welcome people from all walks of life who care deeply about our community and want to contribute something meaningful.

You don't need a background in healthcare. We value diverse perspectives, and we'll support you in learning what you need to know.

We're especially interested in individuals with experience or knowledge in areas such as:

  • Healthcare or clinical services

  • Finance, accounting, or audit

  • Legal or regulatory affairs

  • Human resources or organizational development

  • Marketing, communications, or community relations

  • Business leadership or nonprofit governance

  • Technology or data management

  • Patient or caregiver experience
