Curry Community Together

currytogether

The Curry Community Together Campaign is a program designed to reach the isolated seniors in the community with positive messages and expressions through words, art, poetry, and drawings.

The campaign has started a much needed conversation in our community. Through community partnership and togetherness we can establish and maintain a program that lets the seniors know how much we value, respect and love them. Curry Community Together encourages all ages, races and demographics to come together to create unique messages for the seniors in the facilities that are currently on lockdown and unable to receive visitors.

We encourage any and all forms of “art and messages”.  We even have super fun Coloring pages below from our friends over at Creative Juice Crafts!! Click below to download to your computer and print!!

How can you help in the Curry County Community?

The Curry Community Together campaign is looking for you to get creative!!

Creative Juice Crafts has generously put together some Color Sheets for kiddos to color and get your inner crafter juices flowing but do not stop there! This campaign is meant for ALL age groups, all interests, and all skill levels. We have almost 300 seniors in our County weekly that we are hoping to provide a bit of sunshine and hope!

What is so amazing about this Campaign is all the support that we have received from everyone in the community. Curry County is a truly amazing community that has really come together for our Seniors that are living in isolation. According to the National Institute on Aging, loneliness can lead to issues in both physical and mental health. So how do we as a community protect this already at risk population from the health risks that come along from with isolation? Especially during a pandemic such as Covid-19 when they are unable to receive visits from their family and friends.

We get creative! We get together! We get Curry Community Together!

So get out your papers, pens, markers and paints and get busy spreading some positivity!! We need your help filling our buckets around the county for our elders in isolation with messages of hope, kindness, love and positivity!!

Messages can be mailed to:
